Wilkins Design is trying something new!! This year for the first time we're taking part in the Durham West Studio Tour on April 22-23.
We're excited to be a part of this spring studio tour and we're really looking forward to seeing who drops in to see our work.
In preparation for this spring adventure we're working like crazy; scavenging discarded materials, finishing reclaimed wood, polishing salvaged steel, brainstorming ideas for up-cycling cool new finds, and always wondering what our visitors will be hoping to find in our studio. Furniture and art are sprouting up everywhere!
Coming along with us on this new adventure is our talented friend abstract artist Carolyn Bather . If you haven't seen Carolyn's work you're in for a real treat. Her paintings make a statement in any room; thought provoking and bursting with colour! You totally need one of these incredible works for your space. Don't miss this opportunity to chat with Carolyn Bather in person about her about all things art.
We'll also be joined by the incredibly talented Sarah Hotlby whose hand drawn photorealism pieces will knock your socks off! Honestly, you won't believe your eyes, or her attention to detail. You can see some of Sarah's drawings here but you absolutely need to see these pieces in person in order to understand just how extraordinary they are!
